Next you want to make sure that all connections to the battery are tight.  Take a wrench and try to nudge the bolt to see if it moves.  If it does tighten it down till it does not move.  But not too tight as you may damage the lead.

The last precautionary mobility scooter battery care is to keep the proper charge to your battery.  Your owners manual should explain the proper changing routine.  But usually you would want to charge you battery after every use.  The manual will also say how long you should charge your battery.  It is not good for some batteries to keep charging over a day or so.  So, consult your owner manual to find out the time limit for charging your electric mobility scooter.
